Black Iron Steel Pipe serves as the uncoated base material before any galvanizing takes place. Here's how hot-dipped galvanized square pipe is made: hot rolled steel strip goes through uncoiling, flattening, curling, and welding to become a round steel pipe. This round pipe is then roll-formed into a black square pipe.
That black square pipe is subsequently sent to a galvanizing facility, where it undergoes high-temperature immersion at 1000 degrees. One critical requirement: the pipe wall thickness must be at least 2mm for the hot-dipped galvanizing process to work properly.
