This product is based on the base material of the galvanized steel coil and the surface is treated with RAL 9001 color, which is one of the high-quality Colour Coated Coil series with good quality. After the chemical degreasing and conversion pretreatment process, an organic coating is applied and then high temperature curing to heat up the plate surface, making it in a good combination of beauty and corrosion resistance as is called Prepainted Steel Coil. The aluminum-zinc layer and the organic coating create a dual protection; it extends the life of the product by about 1.5 times that of the regular galvanized steel coils, which is very suitable for building roof system which requires high strength and durability.
This product is a type of Prepainted Galvanized Steel Coil, The base substrate is galvanized steel with aluminum-zinc coating on the top surface, the aluminum-zinc alloy coating acts as a basic anti-corrosion layer. Pretreatment layer, primer layer and topcoat layer are attached on the surface sequentially: Topcoat layer endows RAL 9001 with a white-gray color and long-term weather resistance, primer layer blocks corrosion from spreading under paint film, pretreatment layer enhances coating adhesion. It is worth noting that, although this item is made of PPGL material, in the industry jargon, it is always combined with Ppgi Steel Coil, as the two best-selling types of Color Coated Steel Coils. Users may also select PE, HDP, SMP or PVDF coatings depending on the operating environment. PVDF coating is suitable for extreme outdoor conditions whilst HDP and SMP coatings offer an excellent combination of colour stability and durability.
